Another Day In Mexico

Being able to rest well, then hike back down to the ocean and visit so many cool creatures is to live the daydreams I had in middle school when I was reading a Jaque Cousteau book. I came across a flying gunard, pretty cool looking fish when they fan their "wings" (pectoral fins) There is a still here, but a video that hopefully you can see at a link (AVI) at the bottom of this email. They camouflage well, so it was a challenge to keep sight of him from the surface. He spreads his wings in the vid. Tomorrow I have signed up to dive with some advanced divers on Columbia reef in the morning if the weather holds. It is a deep reef at the southern tip of Cozumel and a little more trouble to take divers to, so not dived on as much as the other sites. I am excited. I will see if my little camera can handle 100' or so. My niece and her fiance (Tiff and Zack) are in Cancun, so soon we will have a wedding. I have to send you one more email about shopping at the Mega store here-quite suprising for this island.

I am loving the pictures and getting the lonely planet Stan version. We are in Abilene this week. Enjoy Palau and Truk. Sam and brady and greyson
